Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups frozen diced carrots
  • 1 tablespoon butter or olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme or fresh thyme
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup optional, for a slight sweetness
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Carrots:

  • If using frozen diced carrots, thaw slightly or rinse under warm water to remove excess ice.
  • Drain well and pat dry with a paper towel.

Sauté the Garlic:

  • Heat butter or olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Cook the Carrots:

  • Add the diced carrots to the skillet.
  • Season with salt, black pepper, and dried thyme.
  • Cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally until the carrots are tender and lightly caramelized.

Finish with Flavor:

  • Stir in honey or maple syrup (if using) and cook for 1 more minute.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley.

Serve & Enjoy:
