Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined 
  • 5 cloves garlic minced 
  • 2 tablespoons butter 
  • 1 cup lemon-lime soda e.g., Sprite or 7-Up 
  • Salt and pepper to taste 
  • Chopped spring onions for garnish

Instructions
 

Marinate the Shrimp:

  • Place the cleaned shrimp in a bowl and pour the lemon-lime soda over them. Let marinate for 10 minutes. 

Cook the Shrimp:

  • In a pan or wok, melt the butter over medium heat. 
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Drain the shrimp from the marinade and add them to the pan.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Cook the shrimp until they turn pink and are cooked through, approximately 3-5 minutes.
