Ingredients
  

For the Shrimp & Sausage Stir-Fry:

  • 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 6 oz smoked sausage chicken or beef, sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional, for spice

For the Honey Garlic Sauce:

  • ¼ cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce low sodium preferred
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha optional for heat
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water to thicken

For Garnish & Serving:

  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons green onions chopped
  • Steamed rice or quinoa optional for serving

Instructions
 

Step 1: Prepare the Sauce

  • In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, sriracha, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
  • Mix cornstarch with water and add to the sauce. Set aside.

Step 2: Cook the Sausage

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add sliced sausage and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned.

Step 3: Cook the Broccoli

  • Add broccoli florets to the skillet and stir-fry for 3 minutes, until bright green and slightly tender.

Step 4: Cook the Shrimp

  • Push the sausage and broccoli to one side of the pan.
  • Add the shrimp to the empty side and cook for 1-2 minutes per side, until pink and opaque.

Step 5: Add the Sauce & Combine

  • Pour the honey garlic sauce over the shrimp, sausage, and broccoli.
  • Stir well to coat everything evenly, then simmer for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens.

Step 6: Garnish & Serve

  • Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions.
  • Serve hot over steamed rice or quinoa if desired.
